UAccess Financials

Due to unforeseen user sync issues with Amazon Web Services, the implementation team has made the decision to roll back to the previous version of DocuWare.

DocuWare will be transitioned to Amazon Web Services starting at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023, through Sunday, January 22, 2023. Users may experience degraded performance in UAccess Financials during this transition.

University Closure will be from Friday, December 23, 2022, through Monday, January 2, 2023. Please review the below dates for deadlines before or during the closure period. 

As the 2021 calendar year-end and University closure approaches, please note these important dates and deadlines.

Beginning September 13, 2021, UAccess Financials will be changing its batch schedule and hours of unavailability. This adjustment will allow for a more stable batch run each evening.

Financial Services has been working toward transitioning the Unclaimed ACH & Wires Portal Application to UAccess Analytics Reports, with a dashboard page called Unclaimed ACH | Wires | Checks which will be under the General – Financial Management Dashboard. This transition was made in partnership with University Analytics and Institutional Research (UAIR) and is scheduled to go live on Monday, March 22, 2021.

In partnership with University Information Technology Services (UITS), University Analytics, and Institutional Research (UAIR), Financial Services continuously works toward releasing improvements to the UAccess Financials system. The next release is planned for March 14, 2021; release dates are subject to change.

The UAccess Financials Tutorials, also known as UPK Tutorials, have moved to EDGE Learning. Learners may view them by searching the course catalog for UAccess Financials Reference Guides or following the EDGE course link. The EDGE platform conveniently allows tutorials to be housed in one location and accessible on-demand from any personal computing device. Direct links to the tutorials that are outside EDGE Learning will be deactivated beginning March 1, 2021.

In partnership with University Information Technology Services (UITS), Financial Services continuously works toward releasing improvements to the UAccess Financials system. The next release is planned for October 25, 2020; release dates are subject to change. This release will include numerous incremental updates.

To increase security of sensitive data, Credit Memos (CM), Disbursement Vouchers (DV), Payment Requests (PREQ), and Procurement Card Documents (PCDO) in UAccess Financials will be updated effective July 1, 2020 to restrict the viewing of Notes and attachments.
